One Step Closer to Discharge

It's a short update, because today has been a good day. Thankfully there's not a lot to tell! The ICU staff were true to their word and mostly left Kate alone to get a full night of rest last night. Through the day, she just kept checking off more good steps - fully off BP meds for over 24 hours, off supplemental oxygen all day, central line removed, and officially moved off the STICU floor (though they have no rooms on a regular floor so we're actually still here in the same room)! Kate's sister Kristen arrived this afternoon and will stay with her this evening, and we're hopeful that she may go home tomorrow or possibly Wednesday.
